Close game blown open as Mets bats explode

The Beers lost their second straight as Cody Westra finally saw his insane 15 game run of dominance!!! end in the GHBL. The Beers jumped on the Mets pitcher early with Mike Cornack scorching a single off the pitchers leg, stealing second, and then plating on a Greg Settle sac bunt. Todd Coulombe then ripped a double to the fence and Settle (who reached on an error off the bunt) scored the second run. The Mets would score 1 in the 2nd and 2 more in the 3rd to take a 3-2 lead. In the top of the fourth the Beers answered with 2 of their own and it was 4-3 cold ones heading to the home half of the 4th. And that's when the Mets went wild.

The lead-off Met crushed a 400 foot bomb to center to tie the game at 4, and it sparked the bench because the Mets could not stop hitting.
